I set myself a challenge before embarking the plane to New Zealand, to shoot my entire trip on film. Jarred has been a long time film buff and was a really great teacher, but it certainly took a little getting used to. Having all the amazing camera technology that a member of Gen Y has at their fingertips has taught me to relentlessly check the back of my camera for an image preview on my tiny digital screen. But having that comfort removed really made me consider my shots and the settings behind crafting them a lot more.
